The three research areas of CBmed are equal partners within the organization that interact closely with each other along Total Quality Management (TQM) assured processes.

Research area “Precision Medicine Technologies” provides and develops multidisciplinary coretechnologies, including flow cytometry, multiplex immunohistochemistry, metabolomics and data science. Within research area “Cancer Research for Precision Medicine” we focus on liquid biopsy in cancer, translational molecular imaging and the establishment of a novel drug screening platform to enable personalised treatment for each individual patient. The research area “Microbiome Research for Precision Medicine” applies beyond state-of-the-art techniques to understand host-drug-microbiome interactions.

Within all research areas CBmed develops their research projects in cooperation with industry and scientific partners.
