Robert Lobnig was trained in electronics at a technical college in Graz/Austria and started his career at SIEMENS headquarter in Munich/Germany. Within the first 7 years of global marketing responsibility for SAW-filters he got the chance to develop and grow business in Japan with 75% market share. Followed by the promotion to become Business Unit leader for Inductive Components he was offered the chance to move to Toulouse/France for 5 years joining the fast growing Automotive Business. His scope was ramping up ABS and airbag systems in 4 different production site within the SIEMENS group. After returning back to Germany he shifted responsibility becoming global head for production and quality for navigation systems and powertrain electronics. Before returning to Austria after 28 years abroad he was leading the TDK business unit for bluetooth and WIFI modules back in Munich/Germany with 350 mio€ of sales. In 2014, he got the opportunity to build up CBmed ltd as a new Medical Biomarker Research Center located in Graz/Austria as CEO/CFO.
