CBmed’s Role in the Sustronics Project: Pioneering Green Electronics for Healthcare
CBmed GmbH proudly contributes to the Sustronics project, which aims to transform the European electronics industry through sustainable practices. As part of this innovative initiative, CBmed is focused on developing environmentally friendly single-use electronics for the healthcare sector. Our goal is to create a cutting-edge diagnostic platform that revolutionizes at-home glucose metabolism testing using eco-friendly solutions.
Working closely with our partners, we are adapting the chip-ELISA-based assay to electrochemical sensors, with a special focus on validating a biomarker monitoring system for detecting C-peptide in urinary samples. This at-home diagnostic tool will provide critical, easy-to-use testing for at-risk populations, helping to improve healthcare accessibility while reducing environmental impact through low-carbon materials.
