Dr. Barbara Prietl is the head of the Division for Precision Medicine Technologies at CBmed, where she has been a scientist since 2015. With a background in molecular biology and human immunology, Dr. Prietl is a leading researcher in cancer studies. As general manager, she oversees the development of cutting-edge technologies in precision medicine, bridging the gap between laboratory research and data science.

Dr. Prietl leads a multidisciplinary team at CBmed that brings together experts in clinical research, laboratory science, biostatistics, systems biology, data science, and machine learning. Outside of work, she is passionate about mountain sports, enjoying activities such as snowboarding, downhill biking, and climbing.
