The Microbiome Modulation Platform
At CBmed, we have developed an innovative in-vitro microbiome modulation platform that allows us to study the complex interactions among diseases, drugs and other substances, and individual microbiomes. This model has become an essential component of publicly funded projects and industry-driven research, as demonstrated by scientific theses, publications and award-winning presentations.
In vitro microbiome model
The platform is total quality-controlled and maintains anaerobic conditions throughout the whole experiment. The experimental setup of our versatile platform can be adapted to each project regarding study population, culture time, feeding modes and endpoints. Standard endpoints include

Clinical validation
We perform clinical studies in the field of microbiome modulation and have extensive experience in all phases of clinical trials, including studies according to the Clinical Trials Regulation and the Medical Devices Regulation. Studies are performed in cooperation with clinical partners in Austria, Germany and Lithuania. We can also offer fully remote studies.
