On December 5th, 2025, Landesrat Willibald Ehrenhöfer, responsible for Science, Research, Economy, and Innovation in Styria, visited CBmed to gain an in-depth overview of our work at the forefront of biomarker research. Our CEOs, Ing. Robert Lobnig and Prof. Dr. Thomas Pieber, were delighted to host him and showcase our headquarters and laboratories.
During his visit, LR Ehrenhöfer learned about CBmed’s pioneering research initiatives, including our projects and collaborative efforts addressing microplastic exposure and its impact on human health, as well as our cutting-edge compound screening platform. He also learned more about CBmed’s recognition as one of Austria’s Leading Companies (ALC) 2025, underscoring our contributions to scientific innovation and economic growth not only in Styria, but in the whole of Austria.
